Sago Executive Chairman Steve Schlesinger is set to receive the prestigious Quirk’s Lifetime Achievement Award at The Marketing Research and Insight Excellence Awards. The virtual awards ceremony will take place on Nov. 14 at 1 p.m. EST. With over 35 years of experience, Steve has played an instrumental role in advancing the field of market research and driving innovation.

Since starting his career in market research in 1985, Steve has been committed to shaping the industry, making impactful research methodologies, and paving the way for young researchers. As CEO of Schlesinger Group and, more recently, Executive Chairman of Sago, Steve’s leadership has transformed the company into a global data solutions powerhouse, serving clients across the globe.

Steve’s entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to knowledge-sharing, and investment in the future of research are evident through his founding of the IA CEO Summit, the co-founding of the QRCA Young Professionals Grant, and designation as an IA Laureate and an Honorary Lifetime Member in recognition of his contributions to the insights community. Additionally, he actively supports MREF’s mission to improve global education opportunities for children while also making a positive impact on the environment by funding the planting of 15,000 trees on behalf of his clients and employees in the last decade.

Steve continues to play a pivotal role in how Sago is represented in the industry and, more importantly, in mentoring fellow researchers and contributing to the growth and success of the market research industry.
