Q: What makes your location special?
Alejandro Cortez: Nicaragua has lots of cultural affinity, a very close time zone to provide support to all parts of the US and, most importantly, a pool full of talent and a great attitude!
Q: What values most resonate for you regarding the Schlesinger Group culture?
Alejandro Cortez: Be a leader and be authentic are the two values that resonate the most. My goal as a leader is to see my staff grow and give them the tools and motivation they need to succeed. Schlesinger Group allows my team and I to be superstars and to follow procedures for success without sacrificing our own individuality. We’re valued not only for our work output but also for who we are as individuals.
Q: What do you consider to be your purpose at SG?
Alejandro Cortez: My purpose is to bring added value from Nicaragua, give opportunities to my team, and support the US, UK, and other international offices from different parts of the business!
