Buckle up! For this installment of our Around the Globe series, we’re going to Toronto, Canada to meet Tom Doulos, Senior Vice President of Quantitative Operations in Healthcare. Get to know Tom and what he values at Sago in the following Q&A:
Q: What is your most memorable experience at Sago?
My most memorable moment at Sago was going to see my teammates in Bulgaria for the first time. As a global company, the project management team is spread out across the world, with most of my team being housed in Sofia, Bulgaria. It was great to meet people in person that I had been working with so closely for over a year. The entire team showed up on Sunday before the work week started to join me on a guided tour of their beautiful city. The following week included building up already strong relationships to bonds that will last forever.
Q: What do you consider to be your purpose at Sago?
I believe my purpose here at Sago is to create an environment where every person that works on one of my teams feels that they have the best employee experience possible and have everything they need to deliver a first-class experience to our clients. Listening to needs, providing guidance, sharing knowledge, acting on gaps in the employee journey – all help garner a culture that is inclusive and productive. I love working with my entire team and look forward to the successes and challenges we face every day.
Q: What’s the one work item you can’t live without and why?
I have become accustomed to working with two big screens on top of my laptop screen and hate when I am away from my home office set up! ????
