The UK Has Now Left the EU. How Does This Impact Your Research Studies at Sago UK?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The UK is now in a transition period until the end of 2020, while the UK and EU negotiate additional arrangements to the deal that was agreed upon. During this period, the current rules on travel, trade, and business for the UK and EU will continue to apply.<\/p>\n

We Are Delivering Studies as Usual <\/strong><\/h3>\n

So, there are no changes in how we are working, and Sago UK <\/a>continues to abide by the UK Data Protection Act, 2018. This Act already provides a comprehensive data protection framework to the same high standard of GDPR for UK citizens.<\/p>\n

The Future for Data Transfer<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The withdrawal deal indicates a commitment on both sides try to ensure free flows of data between the UK and EU. This is expected to be in place at the end of the transition period for zero disruption.<\/p>\n

At Sago UK, we will continue to keep a close watch on developments and guidance issued by leading authorities and we will update our processes accordingly. In relation to any new future regulations, we will manage them as we do all other legal changes and guide our clients through them for a seamless research experience.<\/p>\n

The Future of Marketing Research in the UK<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We remain positive about the outlook for marketing research in the UK and do not expect business levels to be impacted by Brexit. More than ever, brands will need to engage with their customers across different UK markets to gain insights into changing experiences, opinions, and behaviors in a new UK trading, economic and political environment.
