The interviews may be recorded by Sago with our tools and infrastructure or by the Client.<\/li>\n<li><strong>For Healthcare studies<\/strong>: If you report an adverse event (an undesired event that may affect a person\u2019s health or that is related to the handling or consumption of a product or substance during a healthcare procedure) during the study (during the recruitment, the interview or the focus group), Sago will be required to inform its client as well as the pharmacovigilance department of the pharmaceutical companies which sponsors the market research study. Sago won\u2019t reveal the identity of the patient participants to the pharmaceutical sponsor without the patient\u2019s consent.<\/li>\n<li>However, <strong>European<\/strong> <strong>healthcare professional participants<\/strong> must report this event to the appropriate authorities. You can choose between 1\/ reporting the adverse event yourself and anonymously via the official reporting services, 2\/ reporting it yourself directly to the pharmaceutical sponsor or Sago client and lifting your anonymity to them, or 3\/ reporting it to Sago as an intermediary between you and Sago client or the pharmaceutical sponsor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How does Sago store your personal information?<\/strong><br \/>\nSago will securely store your personal information on our internal servers in the U.S., Canada, or EU, following the ISO 27001 Standard. Depending on the platforms used, your personal information may also be securely stored at our data hosts: Microsoft Azure in Canada, the EU or the U.S. (link to their privacy notice <a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/en-gb\/support\/legal\/privacy-data-management\/\">here<\/a>), AWS in the EU and the U.S. (link to their privacy notice <a href=\"https:\/\/aws.amazon.com\/privacy\/?nc1=h_ls\">here<\/a>), and Rackspace in the U.S. (link to their privacy notice <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rackspace.com\/information\/legal\/privacycenter\">here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Sago clients who would receive personal information about you are legally obliged to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risks, in particular from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, and unauthorized disclosure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Sago keeps your financial information for up to 10 years for legal purposes and our tax obligations. By default, unless otherwise instructed by the study client, Sago will keep the project research records for 12 months for quality control and your signed consent for at least 24 months for traceability. Sago will then delete this data. Video recordings made by Sago through our platform QualBoard or other tools\/devices (such as Teams, Zoom, and local CLT recording systems) will be archived 90 days from the end of the study and deleted 180 days after the project closing unless otherwise instructed by the study client.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are your rights on your personal data?<\/strong><br \/>\nUnder data protection law, you have rights including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your right of access &#8211; You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.<\/li>\n<li>Your right to rectification &#8211; You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate.
