I wanted to say a few things about the allegations that came out about the Catholic Church in the last few days, and I’m going to have more to say later but my basic viewpoint on this is very well echoed by Chalcedon451 writing here. I should note that he is a respected historian of the early church, as well as a Catholic, and I take anything he says about either history or the church very seriously, as should you. This is a good, honest, accounting of what he is seeing.
