America has made her decision. Progressives, liberals and low information voters ruled the day and decided that Barack Obama’s record of epic failure and malaise was good enough. This motley coalition of “me-first” malcontents and fairness hustlers was enough to push Pharaoh Obama over the top and into another four years of despotic rule where executive orders pass for law and lies pass for the truth.
We, the God fearing patriots of the United States of America felt like the country deserved better but in the end our efforts were in vain except for the inner contentment that comes with knowing you did all you could do. In the end it was not enough and the country was taken off life support where most of us expect her to die a slow and agonizing death as the cancer of redistribution, excessive regulation and corruption eats away at her.
The country will not survive this. There will not after four more years be a way to pull the country back from the brink as it will have long since passed the point of no return. As middle aged people enter their third or fourth year of underemployment, it will be increasingly difficult for them to find decent employment and more of them will be forced to accept government handouts. Consumer prices will continue to climb as the Fed continues printing Monopoly money like they were Parker Brothers. More and more people will lose their health insurance or be denied treatment as Obamacare is fully implemented. Businesses unable to comply with the staggering number of new and oppressive EPA regulations will be forced to close in even greater numbers than we are seeing at this time. Our military will be further gutted and demoralized. Our illegal alien problem will continue to grow as the Obama administration greases the rails for an even larger influx of illegals. In short, we can, with no countervailing influence (like a reelection campaign) expect to see a ramped up version of the weakness and incompetence that has been a hallmark of the Obama presidency.
Expect a full-on assault on the Bill of Rights. Read the US Constitution Amendments 1-10. Which of these do you believe that Barack Obama believes in? Now ask yourself this question: Which of these do you believe are an impediment to Barack Obama achieving his ultimate goal of transforming this county into a third rate copy of a European socialist state?
You see people, that was an example of critical thinking skills. These skills are sorely lacking among the Obama constituency as evidenced by his reelection. They are unable and mostly unwilling to see what is clear as day to most sentient Americans. It is possible as the country continues its death spiral that they will awaken. Unfortunately it will be too late to save this noble experiment that was undertaken 236 years ago by a group of visionary men who believed in individual liberty and that man was capable of governing himself.
God help us all.
